What we collect
From this website: what you give us when you join the waitlist — your email address and the date and time you signed up. No tracking pixels.
From the product, if you're an early-access user: your account details (name and email, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk), your company profile (name, operating states, size, industry, branding), and the working content you create — handbooks, salary bands, law-alert activity, and team membership. If your company shares a handbook for acknowledgment, we record each signer's name, email, the handbook version, the time, and technical details (IP address and browser) that make the record useful.
Employee information you upload
Early-access companies may upload information about their employees, such as salary bands or acknowledgment requests. Your company controls that data and is responsible for having the right to share it; we process it only to provide the product to your company. Employees with questions about it should contact their employer first, though you can always reach us too.
Who processes it for us
We use a small set of service providers to run PeopleSteady: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in), and Anthropic (AI drafting and audit features). Content sent to the AI features is used to generate your results, not to train models. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Why we collect it
So we can email you when PeopleSteady is ready, and let you know about early-access pricing. We won't use your email for anything else, and we won't sell or share it with anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until launch, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first. Product data belongs to your company and is kept while your account is active; if early access ends, we'll give you a chance to export before deletion. Email us to request deletion at any time. This policy will be replaced by a fuller one at general launch, and you'll be notified before that happens.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. If you sign in to the product once it launches, we'll use ordinary session cookies to keep you logged in — nothing more.
