Where things stand today

PeopleSteady has not launched generally. This site describes the product and lets you join the waitlist, and a small number of invited early-access users are using the product itself. These terms cover both: the website and waitlist, and early-access use of the product. A fuller terms of service will replace these at general launch, and you'll be asked to accept it at that point.

Early-access use of the product

If you have an account, you may use PeopleSteady to manage your own company's HR information during this early-access period. Early access is free, provided as a preview, and either of us can end it at any time. We may change or remove features without notice while pre-launch. If early access ends, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is deleted.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you put in, for having the right to share any employee information you upload, and for keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself. You may invite teammates; what they do in your company's account is your company's responsibility.

Your data stays yours

Handbooks, salary bands, rosters, and acknowledgment records you create belong to you. We host and process them to run the product, and we don't sell them or use them to train AI models. You can export your content (CSV and PDF) at any time.

Not legal advice — please hear this one

PeopleSteady provides general information and drafting assistance, not legal advice, and we are not a law firm. Salary figures are drawn from government data and clearly-labeled estimates. Law summaries are curated by hand, dated, and can lag or contain errors. AI-generated handbook language is a draft for your review. Have a licensed attorney review policies before you adopt them, and verify legal obligations against official sources. You remain responsible for your company's compliance decisions.

Limits on our liability

During early access the product is provided "as is," without warranties, and to the fullest extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the product's information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.

Joining the waitlist

Joining the waitlist doesn't create a contract, subscription, or purchase of any kind. It doesn't guarantee access, pricing, or a launch date. Planned pricing shown on this site is our current intention for early waitlist members, not a binding quote.

Using this site

Please use this site lawfully and don't try to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or misrepresent who you are when signing up. The content on this site — including the PeopleSteady name and branding — belongs to us and shouldn't be reused without permission.
